A 2022 study by the South African Human Rights Commission found that nearly 50% of employees (both men and women) had either experienced or witnessed sexual harassment in the workplace. This course is designed to raise awareness, educate, and empower employees and managers to identify, prevent, and address sexual harassment in the workplace, with a specific focus on the South African context.

This course will guide you through the various forms of sexual harassment, outline the legal frameworks that protect employees, and introduce strategies for creating a safe and respectful working environment. We will explore how to intervene when witnessing inappropriate behaviour, how to access support resources, and how to foster an inclusive culture that respects the diverse backgrounds of all employees.
